THE NEST haberdashery

The Nest Community

Making space for women to connect through craft. For over 10 years the organisation has grown to over 120 volunteers who help preserve Australia’s craft heritage by sharing their skills in a workshop program and processing donations of preloved craft and sewing supplies in their social enterprise: The Nest Haberdashery.

The Nest Haberdashery

The Nest Haberdashery was created as a resource recovery centre for fabric, craft and sewing supplies.

You never know what you'll find in store because the ladies at The Nest are constantly receiving donations of fabric, vintage patterns, brand new yarn and embroidery items, quilting supplies and unfinished projects.

When shopping at The Nest Habby you are also helping to support community initiatives such as The Exchange Project, a free monitoring program teaching handmaking skills and social connection to vulnerable teenage girls from local high schools.

Fabric starting from as little as $3 per metre.
