Brisbane Embroidery Exhibition

The Nest is hosting an exhibition for the first time, in collaboration with The Embroiderers' Guild of Qld. 

The Guild was invited to participate in Brisbane City Council's Greater Brisbane Centenary and set itself a challenge to create new work that encapsulates Brisbane's unique landmarks, flora and fauna.

They will have historical pieces from their collection, along with the new work that members have created to commemorate the Centenary. It will be on display in the Gladys Mary Studio with our Heritage Collection as a backdrop.

This is a preview event before their exhibition goes on display in Brisbane City Hall - so Moreton Bay gets to see it first!
