My Oh My Café is proudly led by its new owners, whose journey into hospitality is rooted in family, resilience, and a genuine love of bringing people together through food.

Before migrating to Australia ten years ago, the owners ran businesses in Vietnam, where entrepreneurship was a way of life. When they arrived in Australia, they started again from the ground up—volunteering in a café to learn English and immerse themselves in the local café culture. That experience shaped not only their skills but their deep appreciation for hospitality and community.
Business has always been in their blood. With a family history spanning over 35 years in business—particularly in the textile industry in Vietnam—the transition into café ownership felt like a natural next step. Alongside My Oh My Café, the family also owns Flinders Seafood & Bar, continuing their passion for creating welcoming dining experiences.
Inspired by their grandparents, the new owners define success not by profit alone, but by happiness, purpose, and the ability to do what they love every day. Exceptional customer service sits at the heart of everything they do, because for them, hospitality is about people first.
Like many small businesses, they navigate challenges such as rising costs, rent, and labour pressures. They believe every challenge brings lessons and that learning never stops—especially in an ever-changing business environment. While work-life balance is still a work in progress, the reward of building something meaningful makes it worthwhile.

Since taking over My Oh My Café, the new owners have introduced a refreshed menu and elegant high tea experience, allowing them to put their own creative stamp on the café. The menu is led by a chef trained in Switzerland, whose skill and attention to detail bring excitement, flavour, and refinement to every dish.
Their vision for My Oh My Café is simple yet heartfelt: to create a space where friends and family can come together to relax, catch up, enjoy great coffee and food, and feel genuinely welcomed—whether it’s a casual catch-up or a special celebration.
Choosing The Sheds at Brendale was an easy decision. The warmth, support, and care shown by property owners Jenny and Doug, combined with the strong sense of community, made it feel like the perfect home. The precinct truly reflects its philosophy—Eat. Drink. Shop. Celebrate. —and the new owners are proud to be part of a place that champions connection and local businesses.
For anyone dreaming of starting their own business, their advice is honest: understand the challenges, be prepared for long hours, and commit fully. It’s hard work—but when you love what you do, it’s incredibly rewarding.
